ABOUT SION
A small team. A long question.
Sion began with a simple tension: the moment someone most wants to pray is often the moment words feel hardest to reach.
We are a small team in the Netherlands building Sion for the lived hours between liturgy and ordinary life: late nights, hospital rooms, kitchen tables, grateful mornings, seasons of doubt, and the quiet return to God after a long distance. We wanted one place where religious discussion, personalized prayer, spoken prayer, devotional art, and thoughtful debate could meet the real moment a person is in.
Sion is for Christians who want language for the exact thing they are carrying, for people who want prayer spoken aloud with care, for those who reflect through devotional art, and for serious seekers who want to press honest questions against liturgy and Christian belief. It is meant to be a companion for return and renewal, not a performance of certainty.
OUR APPROACH
Aligned with tradition, careful with authority.
Sion is shaped by Christian liturgy and belief, but we are explicit about limits. Sion is not the Church, not clergy, and not a sacrament. It is built to support prayer, reflection, and learning beside community, worship, and pastoral care, never in place of them.
Personalized for the actual moment.
We do not want generic religious text. We want prayers, discussion, spoken prayer, and devotional imagery that respond to the real question, burden, gratitude, or debate in front of someone right now.
Open to serious questions, built through revision.
Sion should make space for honest debate as well as devotion. Theological feedback, pastoral feedback, and technical criticism all matter to us, and each release is revised with those tensions in mind.
"A place for prayer, reflection, return, and honest questions."
This is the balance we want to keep.
WHAT MAKES SION DIFFERENT
Built to serve the whole life of faith.
Every other AI speaks about religion from the outside. Sion is built from within — trained on scripture, shaped by liturgy, and designed to serve prayer, study, and the daily rhythm of Christian life.
WHO SION IS FOR
For the whole life of faith.
For the morning prayer made richer.
For the gratitude that finally has the words.
For the family beginning the day in shared voice.
For the student of scripture seeking deeper understanding.
For the believer who never wants to miss a feast day again.
For the long hour that needs a companion to keep watch.
For the prayer life made deeper, made nearer, made present.
You do not need perfect words to begin. Sion will meet you where you are.
